Manufacturing and machining processes

Jensen Metal has over 25 different manufacturing and machining processes in house. 
 
We supply a broad range of industries with products, from prototypes and single component production to small batches and regular mass production. Products may be components, machines or entire systems. Stage of completion depends on the customer's requests and requirements. We can supply raw workpieces - with or without surface finishing - for assembly at the customer's facilities, or we can supply ready-assembled items, in our customer's packaging, directly to the end user. 
 
Although we use high-technology finishing machines and systems to the maximum extent possible, we also use conventional machines such as manually operated shearing, bending and punching machines.
 
In order to ensure consistent high quality, all of our operators are trained to perform internal inspection and to maintain and clean machines and equipment regularly.
 
Stainless steel and carbon steel are kept separate
Naturally, items in steel and stainless steel are manufactured in separate buildings. We have 11,400 square metres for the production of carbon steel and 10,300 square metres for the production of stainless steel. We have separate tools for stainless steel jobs in our machining centre.
 

IT and order management

In addition to the many manufacturing and machining processes at our disposal, it is also important to note that Jensen Metal has a thoroughbred ERP system. This gives us a complete overview of our economy as well as the stock, production and order situation.
 
In control of operations. Our ERP system is an integral part of all aspects of our company's operation, from maintenance of individual part numbers and parts lists, calculation of requirements for materials and management of purchase orders and stock to production planning, invoicing, KPI reports and accounts. 
 
Overview. The ERP system provides us with a complete overview so that we can follow all orders in detail. We receive precise data and information which we use in our analyses and planning to minimise the risk of error. 
 
Learning. We regularly register delivery performance, level of service and complaints. Our ERP system contains the data that enables us to take the right long-term decisions. 
 
Profitability. Our ERP system enables us to compare cost estimates and cost accounting for each individual order or for a single product, by each individual process. This gives us a unique opportunity to identify non-compliance as well as potential action areas and areas for improvement.

We can handle the prototype, planning, procurement of materials, production, assembly, further development, quality assurance, packaging and logistics. In addition, we handle all aspects of a project, with a distinct sense for detail, from edge bending and welding to delivery.
 
As project managers we ensure that all processes are performed optimally and that the product is delivered on time. As a customer you only have one contact who will work with you and follow the project throughout the entire process.
